This professionally maintained Dixon Yacht Designed Moody 56 cutter rigged sloop is set up for ease of sailing and maximum performance with in mast, headsail and staysail furling. She also benefits from a self tacking staysail, powered winches and the optional deeper fin keel with bulb.

She was first launched in 2005 and has had two owners and has been well maintained. Her current owner has cruised her lightly in the mediterranean with a professional skipper.

Her interior is attractively finished in teak which, in addition to the standard two berth, three head accommodation, has an improved passage/crew cabin with a fold out single berth, head, shower and basin.  For comfort this Moody 56 has Climma reverse cycle air conditioning, Eberspacher 24V heating system and Electric flush heads.

This Moody 56 auxiliary power is provided by a Yanmar 100Hp diesel engine with a Max-Prop three bladed feathering propeller and rope cutter.

Works 2012: hauling, rudder control and taken to sea, two coats of antifouling, polishing the hull and deck, engine and generator maintenance, new fenders, new canopies for external hatches.

Works 2013: hauling, rudder control and taken to sea, two coats of antifouling, engine and generator maintenance, renewal certificate RINA for another 5 years, fire fighting system in the engine room, extinguisher maintenance and replacement of some of them, new band UVA for the genoa, repainting in copal of fender and some parts of teak outside, including around the fender, the two seats on the stern pulpit, all the handrails, brought to bare and painted with more than 5 coats of spar varnish , replace all the lamps inside and outside of traditional type LED, maintenance of desalination, re-roofing of all the mats outside the cockpit and sundeck.

Works 2014: hauling, rudder control and taken to sea, two coats of antifouling, polishing the hull, engine and generator maintenance, verification sea cocks with replacement of the special joint para-water on the drive axle. Remaking the spry hood and bimini in ecru. Replacing the catwalk with a new more functional.

Works 2015: hauling, rudder control and water intakes, engine and generator maintenance, verification sea cocks with replacement of one of them, complete work on the hull of wrapping with 3M product and remaking of the stripes and lettering. The boat looks like new. Safety equipment, navigation, mooring pier / harbor, steering: complete safety equipment, mooring ropes, anchor, anchor, windlass, fenders, steering wheel.
