Moody - 346 Bilge Keels
This bilge keel Moody 346, Aquadance, was built by Marine Projects, Plymouth, in 1987, to the classic Bill Dixon design. She provides up to six berths in three cabins, has a seperate heads/ shower, a good galley with fridge, and a navigation table. The aft cabin has a good double berth, with dressing table and wash basin. She has a safe centre cockpit with sprahood, wheel and table, and an excellent cockpit cover giving effectively an additional cabin with great visibility - very usefull when the weather is bad. Also included is her dinghy with outboard. This can be stowed on the davits. Mechanical propulsion is by Yanmar 3YM 30 hp diesel fitted new in July 2010. Aquadance is equipped for extended, comfortable holidays afloat - she sails well and has a sea kindly motion. Her shallow draught also makes her ideal for estuary sailing. A 2013 Survey is available!. - Please ask for a copy The surveyor summed her up saying: - The survey found that "AQUA DANCE” was in excellent condition, having been lightly used and constantly updated and equipment replaced on a regular basis by local professional shipwrights and as a result it represents a condition of a craft of only 2 to 3 years old. As a result very little was found to be in need of any attention, primarily being merely cosmetic end of season condition. Therefore the craft must be considered an excellent example of its type.
