Moody - 30
A smaller version of the Moody 33, this early Primrose design had all the hallmarks of the breed. Built from 1975 to 1979, it was reasonably successful, with 150 being sold. A long fin keel and skeg-hung rudder gave better performance than the looks suggest. Accommodation was exceptionally spacious for the time and is still hard to beat today.
She has six berths in two cabins with the L Shaped dinette converting to a double. The main sleeping cabin is the forecabin, which can be arranged so that it is en suite with the heads amidships. The cockpit is huge and tiller steering is difficult so wheel steering was and is the more popular option.
