Afloat Hamble. 1 x Volvo Penta 2020 19hp twin cylinder diesel, drives out through a sail drive unit and gives her 5 knots at 2500 rpm. Will sleep up to six with double forward, double aft quarter berth to port with two singles in saloon. Super sailing boats with a deserved reputation for good build and engineering throughout and with the "Tandem Keel” she has the advantage of just 1m draught so exploring back waters is made easier. She has, like all Etaps, a double hull with foam to enable their claim of "Unsinkable". Fractional easy handled rig with a self tacking jib (398 sq ft sail area). This boat had a new interior fitted some years back, making her still look "young" inside. She has good extras and has been well cared for by her last owner of some 6 years (sold by James Dickens Marine so well known to us). New sails in 2016 and two older, but little used, Asymetric Kites. Garmin 555 GPS plotter, ST 40 echo sounder and ST 40 log, Simrad RD68 DSC/VHF radio with cockpit extension speaker, electric windlass, Eberspacher diesel fired central heating, spray canopy, fenders, boarding ladder, warps, Danbuoy, outboard motor bracket, tiller cover, life belt in bracket. Solid charcoal burner (fabulous Stainless unit with external exhaust that is a common sight on long distance boats). The boat was in Scotland for her first years where the owners had this unit fitted. Safety deck harness lines. Sold to her current owner in 2010, she has had engine serviced each year since. She has been ashore every winter for 4-6 months. Keel was coated with epoxy in 2016, recent sea cocks to toilet. Great simple sailing boats, light bright interiors, with clever details. Well worth a look!
