Manufacturer Provided Description

The elegant Cornish Crabber 22 is the latest yacht to be added to the Crabber line. Designed by Roger Dongray, it is in the traditional Crabber Gaff Cutter style and neatly fills the gap between the Shrimper 19 and the Crabber 24. The Crabber 22 has a retractable and pivotable bowsprit which enables the mast to be raised and lowered with ease. It is a sturdy and beamy yacht that can be kept on a mooring all season or can happily dry out on a sandy estuary. Her performance is comparable to that of her larger sister the 24. In all kinds of weather, both under sail or under power from her reliable diesel inboard, she is superb. The Crabber 22 is available in Gaff or Bermuda rig. The 22 has been designed for sailors like the Shrimper owner who want a bit more space down below without compromising the real convenience of being able to tow her behind a four-wheel drive vehicle. The cockpit of the Crabber 22 is spacious and well equipped. It's completely self-draining and has vast storage compartments. The standard 1GM10 inboard diesel delivers a reliable nine horsepower. The interior of the 22 is very flexible, having a layout for two to four berths. With running water, a sink, and a two-ringed gas hob, her galley is complete. A private toilet in the forward cabin can also be provided if desired.
