**Fuel is transferred from the main tank to day tank via an electric pump with a semi-rotary wing pump as a manual back-up. Each tank has its on deck filler.
There is a Racor primary filter beneath the engine. There is an inspection plate and a conveniently situated fixed hose to the tank in the event of needing to drain and clean.

History

The boat was commissioned by a private individual living abroad. The boat was designed by Bill Dixon with the build being carried out between 1990-1997. It was eventually launched in 1997. (Receipts for well over £400,000 build costs)

The original owner’s intention was to take it over to Canada, however, as with many well intended plans, this never happened. After sea trials in 1998 the yacht sailed for the Mediterranean. There it remained with little sea time logged.

The second owner bought the yacht in Palma in 2002 where he kept it in the Mediterranean until 2007. The owner returned the yacht to the UK where it spent the next year out of the water in Lymington and Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne for a year.

The next owner bought the yacht at the beginning of Nov 2009 with the intention of Blue water Cruising. Investment was made in the top sides and deck integrity, servicing of rigging,sails, and all engine, hydraulic and electrical systems. Navigation systems where upgraded and all safety equipment was replaced (£45,000 was spent... receipts are available).

The fourth owner also invested heavily in the upkeep of the yacht, choosing to renew the hull coatings & standing rigging, thereby setting it up for many years of cruising to come. The yacht has been wintered in London & has spent the summers cruising the South Coast of England, making several channel crossings along the way. However plans changed with a job move to the USA and she was back on the market again.

The current owners bought her in the UK with the intention of many years blue water cruising, leaving the UK in 2013 through the Med to her current location in Greece. Once again though a carrot has been dangled to relocate for work which is why this impressive yacht is for sale again.
