Description
The MacGregor 26 has got to be one of the most versatile sail boats ever. More have been built than any other type of sailboat. The combination of performance under engine and sail is absolutely unique and all in a boat you can pull behind your car! This is the sailboat version, hence the "S" - as opposed to the X or M power sailor versions. Her hull speed is about 6.5 kts and she'll do that at 1/2 throttle with a 9.9 HP engine, or under sail in less than 10 kts of wind. She is so quick, stable and responsive that many people say she handles just like a dinghy. Also the cabin roof can even be raised to give more headroom when moored up for the night. She needs a few hours' work to get her into order for her next season - but nothing too drastic.Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. These boat details are subject to contract.Register with Boatshed to see 31 extra photos of this MacGregor 26 S.This MacGregor 26 S has been personally photographed and viewed by John Harkness of Boatshed Dalmatia.
