Description
Following the refinement of the original Mitchell 31 design, the J.S. Mouldings Ltd. built Mk III craft with extended Wheelhouse makes a fine cruising craft with good sea-keeping qualities. This craft was completed by skilled shipwright and has some special features such as the teak-laid Cockpit deck.
Mechanical Systems
The 6-cylinder Perkins Sabre diesel is turbo-charged and intercooled, connected to matching gearbox, stainless steel shaft and 3-blade propeller. a 'weed-box' is fitted to allow access to the propeller in the event of rope or other item around the shaft & propeller.
Engine alternator for battery charging and Calorifier for domestic hot water system.

Treadmaster cover to side decks.

S/s bow roller for 25lbs CQR anchor with chain and warp anchor line.
Fore-deck mounted anchor winch.
Danforth kedge anchor.
Substantial fore-deck mooring bollard with similar to stern quarters.
'Midship spring bollards to Port and Stbd.
Treadmaster covering to side and fore-deck surfaces.
S/s tripod gantry to wheelhouse roof for radar dome, nav. lights and various antennea.
Cockpit cover with the ability to remove side elements.
8 fenders and mooring warps.
