Mechanical Systems
Located abaft the companionway, Perkins 4236 four cylinder 90hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed pitch three bladed propeller. Single lever control. 800 litres fuel capacity giving approximately 800 mile range at 7 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 9 knots. The engine has been regularly serviced and recently a new starter motor and alternator have been fitted. Bow thruster.
Alternator charging to 6 x 12 volt batteries (2005/6). 240 volt shorepower system. Battery charger. Immersion heater.
Sails & Spars
Masthead rigged cutter. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Headsail furling system. All lines led aft to cockpit. Two Harken 66.2 self tailing primary sheet winches. Two Harken 46.2 self tailing secondary sheet winches. Six Harken 42.2 self tailing halyard winches.
