Description
Remarks:
A fast and comfortable large cruising yacht which is easily handled. She has huge accommodation and storage and will appeal to live aboards and long distance voyagers alike. She-Æs a well built yacht designed by Ed Dubois, with all the usual Westerly features, fast but not over canvassed, solid and robust (there are eleven 12 mm diameter, and two 10 mm diameter shrouds holding the mast up) with good thickness of fibreglass throughout. Compare the size of the frames and stringers with other manufacturers! Standing and running rigging replaced, staysail roller reefing gear overhauled with new bearings fitted by Allspars in June 2003 and new forestay and Furlex genoa reefing gear fitted August 2006. The best thing about this design is that it-Æs marvellous to have visitors and crew able to spread themselves out in their own cabin whilst at the same time keeping the saloon clear for use all the time.
