This exclusive craft is one of two Tarquin 635’s built by President Marine Ltd in Taiwan and features a deep ‘v’ single chine hull with generous freeboard and a substantial bathing platform across the broad transom (large enough to carry a RIB or jetski).
The Detroit diesels give a cruising speed of 19knots and a maximum speed of 22knots. The port engine has run for 2220 hours and the starboard engine for 2238 hours.
The amazingly spacious master cabin (10ft 6in x 11ft 3 in over the wardrobes) is aft of the main saloon area with access via a spiralling staircase. It features a walk-around superking size double berth (6ft wide), seating/storage areas, large wardrobes and good sized en-suite head compartment with a bath/shower. There is a television (with satellite reception) and DVD player.
In the bows is a forward cabin with a walk-around double berth with en-suite shower and toilet. Aft of this is a larger head with good-sized shower compartment. To port and starboard are 2 further cabins, one with twin berths and the other with twin bunks.
All cabins are equipped with air conditioning, hot air heating and radio/tape players.
Moving further aft a passageway up spiralling stairs leads to the forward end of the spacious deck saloon/wheelhouse which has the helm position (with additional seating) to port and a dining area to starboard. Adjacent to the dining area is a good sized galley with gas hob and oven, twin hot and cold water sinks, fridge and freezer. The aft end of the spacious saloon (13ft x 14ft) has comfortable seating for 8 to both port and starboard. Upholstery throughout the dining area and saloon is in cream leather. There is a wet bar in the saloon with fridge and cocktail cabinet. The sliding stainless steel patio doors to the cockpit also incorporate sliding flyscreens.
Externally, the flybridge extends over a spacious aft deck which is fully enclosed by a removable canvas canopy and has table which will seat 8 people. The decks are laid in teak on the foredeck, side decks and aft deck as well as the bathing platform and flybridge area.
The flybridge is equipped with full controls and, in addition to the helm, has seating for 8+ people. There is a further wet bar with fridge. Aft of the flybridge is a storage area for a RIB (there is a 3.1m Avon RIB available) or jetski, equipped with a crane.
The forward deck is fitted with a very large sunbathing mattress.
The craft is comprehensively equipped including: 24v anchor windlass, bow thruster, 24v warp windlass on aft the deck, Onan 16KVA diesel generator, hydraulic PTO off port engine, Eberspacher hydraulic 10 diesel fired heater/water heater with large hot water tank (also heated by engine calorifier and 240v immersion heater), 240v shore power system including battery charger, HRO systems water maker and reverse cycle type air conditioning system.
Electronics fitted include: Raymarine Autopilot, ICS Navtex, Raymarine DSC type VHF, Raymarine E120 GPS chart plotter, Raymarine repeaters displaying boat speed/depth and wind speed/direction, auto pilot, Echopilot forward looking depth sounder, ICOM SSB radio, Raymarine repeaters duplicated at flybridge area as well as Raymarine E80 radar/GPS chart plotter. There is a satellite TV installation with LCD type TV in the main saloon, a further TV in owner’s cabin, as well as a stereo radio/CD in the saloon, plus radio/tape players in all 4 cabins.
